The Executive Committee of the 2024 International School Games (Bahrain 2024) has announced the opening of registration for Bahraini and resident journalists to cover the events scheduled to take place from October 23 to October 31, 2024, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, with the participation of over 5,000 students from various countries around the world.
The Executive Committee has invited representatives of local media outlets to register by submitting (name, organization, position, personal number, and a personal photo) through the following link: https://forms.gle/RAGGx2JcA46s5sJx6, to allow the organizing committee to issue media accreditation cards.
The Executive Committee has set Tuesday, October 15, 2024, as the deadline for local and resident media representatives to register. The committee emphasizes the importance of adhering to the registration period to avoid any complications that could prevent media representatives from accessing the events, in accordance with the regulations of the International School Sport Federation, which oversees the event’s organization.
Bahrain is preparing to host the International School Games over a 10-day period in October 2024, with wide participation from 80 countries, 5,000 students, and 25 different sports, including swimming, gymnastics, 3×3 basketball, fencing, boxing, taekwondo, wrestling, karate, judo, table tennis, badminton, tennis, handball, beach volleyball, dancing, chess, javelin, archery, Paralympic sports, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, and aerobics. A total of 14 venues have been designated for the games and their specialized programs.
