The delegations for the International School Games (Bahrain 2024), set to take place from October 23 to 31 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, have started arriving in Bahrain. Countries like Chile, Brazil, Estonia, Argentina, Cameroon, Mexico, Poland, and others are being welcomed at Bahrain International Airport. This tournament will see the participation of 5,651 individuals representing 80 school federations from 70 nations, competing in 26 sports events for both boys and girls.
A total of 3,715 athletes are expected, alongside 414 officials, 654 coaches, 414 referees, and 454 specialised delegations. The tournament promises to be a spectacular showcase of young talent on the international school sports stage. The Protocol Committee and the Transportation Committee are overseeing the smooth arrival of delegations, ensuring that participants are comfortably accommodated, while the Housing Committee continues its work to guarantee the best services and a welcoming environment for all guests.
The delegations will continue arriving over the coming days as preparations for the event reach their final stages.
