The Bahraini teams have brought Bahrain’s total medal count to an impressive 66, with 13 gold, 21 silver, and 32 bronze medals in the International School Games (Bahrain 2024), hosted by the Kingdom from October 23 to 30 under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The latest additions include a silver medal won by Bahrain’s handball team (1) after a close final against France, while the Bahraini school boxing team celebrated a remarkable 23-medal achievement.
23 Medals in Boxing
At the close of the boxing competitions held at Al-Ahli Club Hall in Zinj, the Bahraini Boxing Team claimed a total of 23 medals, showcasing exceptional talent in a field featuring international school boxing champions. The medals included 3 gold, 8 silver, and 12 bronze.
In the first level, Amanullah Sahak won a gold medal, with silver medals going to Joel JR Rosas, Cheryl Rosas, Rawan Faqih, and John Michel. Bronze medals were awarded to Mohammed Amin, James Terrence, Cecilia Shaheen, and Evan Liban, contributing significantly to Bahrain’s tally.
In the second level, Mohammed Sahek and Harley Jake earned gold medals, while Sofia Musa, Nikkilan Model, Abdulrahman Soman, and Ever Joy added four silver medals. Bronze medals were won by Laila Abdullah, Anas Issa, Fawaz Hazem, Zaid Al-Badri, Ibrahim Al-Ajmi, Yousef Bouzqro, Sherwin Villanueva, and Argie Reyes, further enriching Bahrain’s standing at the international school level.
