Bahrain is gearing up to welcome delegations for the International School Games, taking place from 23 to 31 October. Delegations will start arriving today, Tuesday, with teams coming from various countries across the globe to compete in one of the largest school sporting events worldwide.
The tournament will see over 5,000 male and female athletes, representing approximately 80 school sports federations, competing in 26 different sports. This event fosters sportsmanship and cross-cultural communication among young people from diverse backgrounds.
The organising committees have made all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth reception for the delegations. Transportation has been arranged to facilitate the participants’ transfers to their accommodation, and a range of hotels and facilities have been designated to meet the athletes’ needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Furthermore, training centres and stadiums are fully prepared to host the competitions, with final touches being applied to the sports equipment.
These efforts reflect Bahrain’s dedication to hosting a high-quality sporting event that promotes cultural exchange and highlights the Kingdom’s capabilities in managing international events. The organisers are focused on providing an exceptional experience for all participants, enhancing Bahrain’s reputation as a global sports destination.
