The Bahrain (1) handball team has secured its place in the semi-finals of the handball competition in the International School Sports Games “Bahrain 2024,” following a decisive victory over Benin with a score of 43-14 on Saturday, the second day of the event.
Bahrain dominated the match from the outset, leading 17-6 by the end of the first half and maintaining strong momentum to extend their lead in the second half, finishing with a substantial win.
Meanwhile, in another Group 1 match, Bahrain (2) faced a challenging game against France, ultimately falling 20-27 in an intense showdown.
In the women’s handball competition, Romania triumphed over France with a 25-20 win, Iran defeated Benin 27-19, and Romania edged out Ukraine with a close 18-16 victory.
