Bahrain (1) handball team has advanced to the final of the handball competition after a decisive 28-19 victory over Saudi Arabia in the semi-final held at the Bahrain Handball Federation Hall in the Halls Complex, Umm Al Hassam. Bahrain (1) is set to face France in today’s final at 15:00, aiming to capture the tournament title.
France reached the final by defeating Bulgaria 32-27, securing its spot alongside Bahrain. Meanwhile, the Saudi team will compete for third place against Bulgaria in a match scheduled for 11:00.
In another match, Bahrain (2) clinched fifth place in the overall standings, besting Benin with a score of 35-27.
In the girls’ division, the French school team earned its place in the final with a commanding 30-10 win over Iran. They will face Romania, who qualified after a 30-18 victory over Benin. The girls’ final match is set for today at 13:00, while Iran and Benin will compete for third place at 9:00.
