The organizing committee for the table tennis competitions has revealed the schedule, which will feature the participation of seventeen teams for boys and girls as part of the International School Sports Games “Bahrain 2024,” taking place from October 23 to 31.
The competition will see the participation of five Bahraini teams, as well as teams from Romania, Brazil, Uganda, India, China, England, Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, Libya, Bulgaria, Chinese Taipei, the United States, Italy, Nepal, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia.
The draw placed Bahrain Team 1 in Group A, alongside Romania, Brazil, Uganda 1, India 2, and Bangladesh.
Bahrain Team 4 was placed in Group B, which includes China, India 1, Uganda 3, England 2, and Azerbaijan.
Group C features two Bahraini teams, Team 2 and Team 3, alongside England Team 1, Libya, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria.
The final group for the boys, Group D, includes Bahrain Team 5, Chinese Taipei, the United States, Uganda 2, Italy, and Bulgaria.
For the girls’ competitions, there are three groups. Group J includes Chinese Taipei, England Team 1, Azerbaijan, Italy, and Nepal. Group K consists of India, the United States, Uganda 2, and England Team 2. Group L includes China, Uganda 1, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia.
All matches will be held in the second indoor hall at Isa Sports City in Riffa from October 25 to 30.
