The Bahrain School Wrestling Team is intensifying its preparations for participation in the International School Sports Games (Bahrain 2024), which will be hosted by the Kingdom from October 23 to 31.
The preparations are focused on enhancing physical fitness, improving technical skills, and providing psychological support to ensure that the players perform at their best in this tournament. Under the supervision of the team’s technical staff, the players are undergoing daily training sessions according to a program prepared by the Technical Committee, with the goal of maximizing readiness for the start of the event.
Eight wrestlers will represent the Bahrain School Team in the wrestling competitions.
Kamal Jamal described the team’s preparations as ideal, saying, “The team has reached a high level of readiness through daily training that the players have been committed to since the start of preparations. This reflects the great efforts put in by both the coaching staff and the players to achieve full readiness before the event begins.”
Jamal added, “The goals for this participation are significant, especially as it targets a young group of players. This prepares them for future representation of the Kingdom in various events and helps in discovering young talents in wrestling. Additionally, the players will gain valuable experience from the extensive international participation in this event.”
Regarding aspirations for the games, he stated, “Our ambitions are high for achieving positive results after the ideal preparation the players have undergone. We are looking forward to competing for medals and raising the Kingdom’s name high in this major international event.”
